Summary:SCIENCE EN JEU (www.science-en-jeu.ca) is a diffusion platform and a virtual world to stimulate the interest of young for sciences and technologies. This world is accessible for them, free on the web thanks to around twenty partners from education, business, museums, government and public broadcasters, who have contributed to its development, content enrichment, promotion or diffusion. To enlarge the business model of SCIENCE EN JEU, CREO wants to develop an extension of the product, by offering the possibility for parents and professors to pay for an extension where they can have an individualized follow up and feedback on learners progression, depending on their school level or specific difficulties and their learner profile: learning personality style, past interactions analysis. Adaptive support will be designed based on these informations using generic models of support to motivation for learning and the progression observed in the system. Messages or feedback may be introduced in the environment adapting the system avatars messages. The system will be generic so it is easy to extend and adapt to different applications in the virtual world. A study will be made to evaluate and eventually adjust the system to ensure its efficiency. This development will be made in collaboration with the SOFAD which distribute Clic MAthematique in the Commission School Board schools. CREO is now in negociation for the distribution of the system here and elsewhere along with other school enrichment products.
